Peer Observation of Teaching
Peer Observation of Teaching is a voluntary system of professional support whose aim is to assist teachers, at any stage in their career, gain valuable insights about their teaching performance in a confidential, trusting and formative climate. It involves inviting a colleague into a lecture or tutorial and asking them for their feedback. Within the Shannon Consortium, a number of regional training events are hosted each year in order to inform and develop an institutional and inter-institutional Peer Observation of Teaching network.
The Centre for Teaching and Learning will host a Lunch and Learn Session entitled Engaging with Peer Observation, details as follows:
Date: Tuesday 12th September, 2017
Time: 1-2pm ( A light lunch will be provided)
